     Daniel Blodgett, born 13 Oct 1739 in Stafford, CT; died 12 Nov 1776 in New York, NY.  He was the son of  Daniel Blodgett and  Debra Ellsworth.  He married  Lydia Robinson 27 Nov 1760.
      Lydia Robinson, born 04 Feb 1741/42 in Windham, CT; died 1811 in Chelsa, VT.  She was the daughter of  Benjamin Robinson and  Jerusha Bingham.

Notes for Daniel Blodgett:
Died in a New York City British Prison at the beginning of the Revolutionary War.

Daniel responded to the Lexington Alarm, April 19, 1775, service 10 days; enlisted in Continental Army, taken prisoner, and died in captivity in New York City, Nov. 12, 1776. No record of his wife’s death.

        i.    Nathan Blodgett, born 27 Sep 1761; died 26 Aug 1798 in Lebanon, NH; married Anna Perry 03 Mar 1785; died 26 Apr 1838 in Lebanon, NH.

Notes for Nathan Blodgett:
Pg 192 Nathan (7) b. 1761
    Nathan and his brother Daniel went to Lebanon (N.H.) about 1783 or ’84 and were among the first settlers of that town. Nathan took up land, built a log house and cleared a farm located about three miles from the present village of Lebannon. There was no road, only a bridle path to the village and the trees were blazed along the way to guide the traveler. This farm remained in the hands of his descendants until 1869. He was assessed in Lebanon from 1787 to 1798 (there were no assessment lists earlier than 1787). He died there Aug. 26, 1798, aged 37 years, laving a widow and seven children the eldest only 13 years old. His widow died Apr. 26, 1838, also in Lebanon.
    From Stafford (Conn.) Probate Recordss, v. VIII, p. 156 dated Sept. 22, 1794. "Nathan Blodgett of Lebanon (N.H.) in County of Grafton, State of New Hampshire, adm’r of the estate Phoebe Blodgett (his sister) late of s’d Lebanon dec’d, conveys to Levi Edson of Stafford, all the land and buildings lying in the Second Society of Stafford, which did belong to the said Phoebe from her Hon. Grandfather Daniel Blodgett late of Stafford dec’d."

        vi.    Phoebe Blodgett, born 10 Sep 1769 in Stafford, CT; married Mr. Glover.
        vii.    Benjamin Blodgett, born 19 Jan 1772 in Stafford, CT; died 10 Feb 1858 in Bath, NH; married Polly Greanleaf 18 Jan 1795; died 11 Nov 1825 in Monroe, NH.

Notes for Benjamin Blodgett:
Pg 193 Benjamin (7) b. 1772
    Benjamin lived in Chelsea, Lebanon, and Bath (N.H.) and probably later in Wells River (Vt.). He was assessed in Cheslea from 1793 to 1800. While living in Lebanon, a deed was recorded conveying all his rights in the estate of Daniel Blodgett to Levi Edson of Stafford (Conn.). There is no record of his death, or his wife’s death.
